  • Move Pts in Auto circle

What i've done is created an auto circle with 10 points. I need to create a move point and a probe rotation in the middle of the 10 hits. If it can be done, I can't figure it out. 3.5 mr2

    thanks, mike

Can you measure a partial circle with one probe, rotate your probe, then measure another circle and construct from individual points from the two circles?

IF you are using different probe angles, it would be to your advantage to use individual EDGE points, Pcdmis will only comp for the last tip used in a single feature. Then, once you have the 10 edge points measured, construct a circle.

You can always start taking hits manually, adding in the probe rotations and move points when needed, and collect all the points then hit DONE on the keyboard which will create the feature, you can then edit the location of the individual hits so they are all where you want them.

It would be nice if they added this feature into a new MR (gasp!).
Maybe we should ask for this??

                  Good Morning,
If you have cad, it will be easy to use edge points. Then you can put them where you want then construct the circle from that. If no cad, then you will just have to take your time and watch your vector values and edit them as needed. You may be able to use partial circles by working with the start and end angles, but it will be more time consuming. Keep it simple and use edge points. It will be a lot less of a headache.
