Ok I'm measuring a C chanel,I need to measeure the inside width distance
and I'm taking points on the outside of the surface, since I can't reach the inside in my program I'm subtrating the Material thickness by offsetting
the actual mat'l thick, now I know that for the next run the mat'l thick will be diferrent because the tolerance is ±.004 and I do not want to be changing my program to the actual mat'l thick. Is there a command in Pc dmis Where I can insert a comment to the operator asking to insert the actual Mat'l thick, then the program will take that actual reading and compensate the off-set.I guess it can be a go/to type of thing. Please advice.
