  • Max & Min measurements

    Hello everone,

    On pc-dmis (ver 3.7 mr2) I have programmed and measured 10 bolt holes.
    From these 10 measurements, I would like to write a formula to select the maximum reading and then the minimum reading and output to the stats file and the printout.
    Any assistance/help will be appreciated.

    I have to remember what programs I have them in but use an array
    assign a variable to an array
    then another for min and max .. have each go into a generic feature then report

      ASSIGN/V1 = array(h1.x,h2.x,h3.x,h.4x (etc))
      ASSIGN/V2 = MAX(v1)
      ASSIGN/v3 = array(h1.y,h2.y,h3.y,h4.y (etc))
      ASSIGN/v4 = max(v3)
      (if this isn't the correct syntax, it will show up in red)

      Then create a generic circle, or point, using V2 and V3 as the X and Y actuals.

          You can add the "max" prior to the array and do it all in one line.
          ASSIGN/V1 = MAX(ARRAY(h1.x.....H10.x))
