  • Spaceballs!!

Hey gang, do any of you guys use spaceballs with DMIS (They are the mouse like objects usually glued to Engineers left hands)?
    Does DMIS actually support Spaceballs?

    TIA (As always),

Yes, spaceballs are supported. It hasn't been too long since they were added, but I believe that 3.7 and above support them.

I've used one, but I prefer a standard mouse over the spaceballs. Just a matter of preference I guess...

Thanks Guys. I just saw on the official site that 3.7 onwards supports spaceballs. I guess I'll have to wait until my Governor buys the SMA ;0(

As big as, my mistake. Maybe I am accustomed to being told that it is bigger or was that a dream I had?

I have the Space pilot use to have the space ball 4000
I use one with all my CAD software and would use it with the demon if it worked the same way as with CAD.
without it's like using a notebooks built in mouse sure you can do it but it slows you down and makes you less productive
The 3d controllers let you focus on your task and not what your hands are doing. well worth the $$$$$$$

I use a spaceball 5000. But I am currently running PC DMIS 3.7 and I can't get the function of the spaceball to work like in Unigraphics. I am hoping that in 4.1 it will work correctly.
