  • Snap Point

Does anyone know if you can set snap points to the on position as a default in v4.1?

This may not be a good idea.

As Mathew had stated in a previous thread. You should not have this on for points taken that will be used in an iterative alignment.

Points taken after are ok to use this function.

I can turn them off for six points alot eaiser than I can turn them on for 2000 points. So my choise is snap on. Do you know if it can be done? And if so how? Please

        Tested,

Go into your "pcdmisw" folder. Open the settings editor. Under auto features, look for "DccSnap", change value from "0" to"1" in the "current value" field.

That should do the trick for you.

It has been improved in V4.2. From V4.2, the option is greyed out on pre-alignment features. Newly created post alignment features will default to on or off, depending on what the previous user setting for snap was.
