  • External Cone measruing from top down.

How do I make my cone measure from the bottom up?

I am entering the data in the Auto Cone screen and creating the cone without taking any hits on the CAD and it starts at the small end and works down. I've played around with the depth/height/vector/etc with no luck.

Is there a setting that I'm missing?

if you have the actual part you can probe it from bottom to top or probe vector points on the cad model from bottom to top and recall those points into a cone. these are two alternate methods without using auto cone. hope this helps.

      Thanks

Thank you for the help George.

The report data is correct, but it still looks weird on the Grapics Display Screen. Need to move on to another "hot" one.

      Thanks again......

        Caution!!

Please take a VERY close look at the results since auto-cone
contains a lot of bugs in this version!(actuals not updating etc.)

I almost never use auto-cone due to this bugs!

I ended up measuring vector points and constructing the cone from them.

I've never been able to get an autocone to work, always thought it was ME!!!

          Thanks
