Cosine Error Example

Maybe this should be in Off-topic. I've searched this sight and I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, but does anyone have a cosine error example (ie. pretty pictures) that can be used to explain cosine error to manager/engineer types.
Searching the net just finds white papers that would make most manager types go "Huh? I don't get it.".

Any help is greatly appreciated.

This would apply to the probe approach vector.

Cosine error only occurs on individual point type features and not on calculated features such as planes, circles, lines, cylinders. Is it points that you are looking for?
