  • Hide the probe head in grafics

How do I hide the probe head (PH9) in grafics window. I just want to see the tip only

F9 your loadprobe command. Where your tip is described on the left, find the probe tip description, double click and select hide this. It will hide everything except the tip.

Sometimes even the tip becomes more than you want to see. You can make it transparent EDIT/ Graphics Display window/ Lighting , Materials . Click on Lighting button/ PROBE/ click on Transparncy and this will open a slider button that you can adjust so you can see through the tip but still see where the tip is. IT is sort of a ghost image.

Oooh, good tip - no pun intended. I'm going to have to try that one.
