  • Probe Calibration Results

    Hello,
Hope everyone had a nice holiday!

I have questions concerning probe calibration, and reading the results files. I have attached a pdf of a calibration file of a 1mm probe on a 20mm shank, attached to a 20mm extension, which is brand new.

At the end of the calibration report, there is a section listing probes whose "measured probe diameter error exceeds the limits".

What are the limits referred to?
What exactly does this error mean?
    How can it be corrected?

Thanks for any and all help on this.

Looks to me like you told it, in the set-up, that you were using a 2mm probe. Look at the THEO and you will see a 2mm diameter expressed in ENGLISH and the results are a 1mm tip expressed in english.
