Hi i have problem with star

I got probemih m8 and probetp2 and i wont manual calibrate star i install everythink probetp2 and extend 5way 5times tip4by20 an i calibrate but when i check a circus 315 i heve circus 271 i think i do something wrong. Somebody help my ???

You ain't from around here, are ya? Sounds like you may have a probe compensation issue. Press the "F1" on your keyboard and enter "Probe Comp" in the search window.

I used my pcdmis manual. Not like regular :P We dont writte the programs. I dont know how to calibrated good that configuration.

About 10 of my co-workers were born in Poland. Half of them are amoung the sharpest guys in the business and the other half are good hands. Try measuring the calibration sphere. If my theory is correct you should get a reported size 40 from what the artifact is known to be. HTH

Are you using the same tip for all the hits or are you trying to take one hit with each of the 4 tips for the circle? You must tell the software which of the five tips you are using each time you change tips. So to measure a 4 hit circle with one hit taken on each of the 4 horizontal tips, you must take 4 individual hits, specifiing which tip is taking each hit, and then construct the circle from those hits. If you are using the vertical tip for all hits, then I do not know what is wrong. When you reply to this post to the right of the smilely face you will see a paperclip. It is for attachments. I don't see anything abnormal. Are you using one tip at a time or multiple tips per feature when you try to measure?
