PC-DMIStoExcel_auto "fill color"

I am using the above titled method to download data from PC-DMIS to excel. After doing some data cleanup, like adding dimension numbers, (which somehow weren't included in this sheet), I save the spreadsheet. Then, after opening again, the entire sheet opens with all cells gray. The Excel "no fill" color shows up as gray, also.

The test32 sheet appears to be changing some basic Excel settings. Has anyone else seen this problem? Is it something in the VBA code that is doing this? I have looked and can't seem to find anything. Perhaps some security on the spreadsheet?
