  • DCC Auto Features Slot. Whats changed?

All the sudden all of my round slots are picked with a single click as if I was in wireframe mode. I am not. I've always had to click 6 points to select a slot. I want that back. Does anyone have any idea whats changed here?

PCDemon 3.7Mr3 I have what appears to be a good CAD model but this is driving me nuts, it is NOT picking the proper slot diameter.

Why is it that you can tear your hair out trying to figure out what seems to be wrong and about 30 seconds after you SCREAM for help you figure out whats wrong? I have a CAD model that isn't as good as I tought it was. I can pick these features from the other side of material just fine. The CAD is hosed on this one. I've never seen this before.

We feel your pain Bill. But I do not tear my hair out over things like this, It starts turning gray. It won't be much longer and it'll all be gray.
When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

Bill, I am so happy to know that I am not the only one who experiences this phenomenon. There have been times I have looked at a print for 30 minutes trying to find something that I know must be there. When I give up and take it to a co-worker to look at, as soon as I start to explain what I am looking for it is jumping off the page surrounded by neon and accompanied by a full marching band.

I have had that happen too. Unfortunately, it usually is with one of the engineers and they rub it in as I am such a pr!ck.

We do have that issue once in a while. A false surface covering a portion of the CAD. Kind of a "ghost". Sometimes changing iges import options helps, others, when I have this problem, I go to delete CAD elements and pick inside a hole. If something is there it can be deleted. This all helps when working with thicknesses.
