  • Start Open program @ DCC mode

I have 2 seperate progrmas that need to be run right after each other. At the end of Ops-20 cmm program, I have a command to open Ops-30 cmm program. What I need is for the OPS-30 cmm program to start at the dcc mode automactically with out having anyone to start the program manually on ops 030. Thanks for your time and help.

Incorporate both programs into one and create marked sets.

Can you use a label and goto command where you turn dcc on?

You could use VB to run one then the next... lot more effort than the above suggestions but keeps the two programs completely separate in respects.
It really depends on your needs...

Do it with marked sets, would be the fastest way.

No idea why you would want a label or a script?

Where did you see anyone mention a script??

But why you might want to do it in VB would be:
So that the data coming out would be completely separated from each other.
The two programs share feature names and you dont want the hassle of combining them.
You need to keep them separate because of a certification of each program is already done and you cant re-certify the combined program.
              Because it might be fun??

Marked sets may be the easiest way... This is just an alternative.
