  • Profile Report Error?

When I report out a profile, in this case it is plane -C-, it does not show up in the report column. It shows D52, but there is no -C- shown in the report - Why? All other dimensions are shown. Right below it it I report out the location of the plane -C- and it shows the plane -C- in the report. PCDEMONS?
Included a snap shot, anyone else experiencing this? Operators need to know what dimensions they are looking for if it would happen to be out of print.

I wonder if a diferent naming convention will fix it. This might be out of my realm being a higher version than I am using but just a guess anyway.

What is shown there is driven by what is in the label. You may need to change the label in order for it to print out properly.

Have you tried the graphic mode already? Does it also show up poorly there?

You are running 4.1, are you seeing this issue too. I would be using the same labels you would be using.

          VONDY,
I see the same as you do. But, if you uncheck "use legacy dimensions", and create your datum definitions, and then report out the profile, you do get a description of the measured item.

Another idea, if the operators need to know what feature it is, how about a graphical dislpay of where the profile is? Analysis view too?
