How do you add a new probe to the probe library?

Bob, I didnt get the answer I was after in the above (linked) thread. Is there any possibility in getting a breakdown of exactly what each line of code means (see below). Its easier to decipher for standard ball probes (still not idiot proof) but I got kinda lost with my home made disc probe.

by jkb_mcgFirst off, locate 'probe.dat' in your pc-dmis folder. Open it up. Now, highlight the first probe build. Should look something like this:
