  • Be careful what you ask for :)

    Folks,

After months of persistent discussions (whining) with the powers that be I'm finally set up with:

    1) A current SMA
    2) 2 gigs of RAM, I can actually load our IGES files
    3) Upgraded to 3.7mr3

I'm jump'in in this morning. Any words of wisdom / cautions you may have to offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    T. King

My suggestion would be to see Matt's replies to this post "COMP.DAT, DOWNL.OAD, SYSPARAM.DAT... " on 3-24-06. Good luck and remember, patience, patience, patience.

ALSO, unless you want a bunch of blank tool bars at the top of your screen ALL THE TIME, do NOT try to edit or make customer tool bars. It will do this EVERY TIME. Then you have to COPY all the 'users' data (all files where teh gbarstate file is located) from an oder version to the new version to fix it.

Problems with the "MR#" is minor it's when they change the numbers in front of the "MR#'s" is when you need to proceed with caution.
