  • Scanning a groove using v4.1

I am attempting to do a scan using v4.1 on this cam. I haven't done much scanning in 3.5, 3.7 and none at all in 4.1. To be honest I really don't have a clue where to begin here so any assitance at all would be greatly appreciated even if it just gets me started...

    Here's the part:

    Here's the drawing requirements:

I need to scan the two channels on the first side and one channel on the opposite side. Should I be trying linear open, linear closed, or what???

After several attempts of using the closed scan I've finally gotten to the point where I am creating points out of a scan, but now I cannot for the life of me get all of those points at the same depth. Any suggestions ?

Sorry kind of busy today. Couldn't answer earlier. Once you have the 1 point and the direction point chose, go to the window that says cutvec double click the cutvec and clean up the numbers to be 0,0,1 etc etc.
