  • 4.1b or 4.2 release???

Has anyone been told when the newest release will be available? We just loaded 4.1, but have just played with it. Before we have everyone in the shop using it we wanted to get the latest release that fixes the TP in the ppap report. Thanks.

The final Release Candidate of PCDMIS 4.2 came out the end of October. The goal is to have the official release by the end of November.

I am testing a V4.1R release. Things are getting better. More annoying issues resolved.

I have heard that V4.2 is not scheduled until late in December. I'll take November though...

I did send an email to a contact of ours at B & S and was told that the tp problem in the ppap report has never been reported as a problem so it will not be fixed in the 4.2 release. It has been added to their list of things to fix in the future!!!!

I was told that the scanning issue will be fixed in 4.2, so I'm waiting to try it. 4.0/4.1 were not recognizing scans written in 3.5.
