  • 4.1 is it worth loading?

I haven't had much time to spend on this forum lately. I was wondering is it worth loading 4.1? I'm currently using 3.5 mr2. What are the main concerns with 4.1? Thanks for the input.

I was using v3.7MR3 when I "tried" the upgrade. I had issues printing to .PDF & .RTF files. It gave me an error on a PDF driver.

I also noticed there isn't a "Full Report Mode" anymore.

I would most definitely upgrade to 3.7mr3.

      I don't know about 4.1. I haven't tried it.

v4.1 has its share of bugs yet, but its is nice to get a peek at where the software is going. Assuming the software actually does what you expect, you wont want to go backwards.

With that said the old programs that the person before me wrote Im still running in v3.7MR3 which has its own directory, due to the way I choose to install it. This way I dont have to worry if my old programs are going to run correctly with the new version, etc.

My new programs however I have been writing in 4.1, which hopefully will give me a headstart once v4.2 is released and will have a different set of problems Im sure, but keeps me on the cutting edge.

4.1 has some bugs but most of them seem to be just annoyances more then anything.

Honestly for me installing v4.1 has been more educational then productive atm. Hopefully that will change soon.

If you do choose to upgrade do it per this thread.

          Thanks Matt!

If you can, I suggest you wait for 4.2. I have high hopes that they will have fixed a significant amount of minor issues in that version.

Full reporting is there...it just defaults to "last execution" for initial display.
When you open the "report" just to the left of the 100% (sizing pulldown) there are two choices..."view report mode" and "view last execute report mode"...."view report mode" is the full report
