    Hello all,

It's me again, back on the "scripts" thing. I downloaded a script from the wilcox site - "pcdmistoexcel_auto", it was working fine until I screwed up by accidentally saving my report (after I made changes & did not rename) to the original excel file called "test32".

So now when I run the program, I get the errors:

    a) Compile error:

    Can't find project or library

    b) Error on line: 44 - OLE Automation method exception

    Help...please... many thanks...

Isnt there a wizard for that already in PCDMIS?

Right Click on the Toolbar and select Wizards, then click on the the PCD2EXEL icon. It might be that a new thing in v4.1 which I only found yesterday.

Anyway I was looking for the script on the Wilcox website also. Would you be refering to "AllExcl"?

From your description it sounds like one of the components (dll) or Active X controls is now longer selected in the Properties>Components of the VB script you are tying to compile or run. I would guess that the second error message is related to VB not being able to access the missing or undefined library in the first error msg.

Hey Jim, I did download a fresh one and started from scratch, still not working.

And Mr. Comment, thanks for the reply, sorry I failed to mention, I am using ver3.5 Also the script I am referring to is - pcdmistoexcel_auto by Tom Scalzi. And yes the second error is a resultant of the 1st error.

Tom, the script is originally written for ver3.5, I did open it and the default is set at 3.5

Sorry I forgot about that one. I was thinking of the cmmautoimport xls file. My bad. As you said you already looked at the library settings , I'm fresh out of ideas.

How about the pcdmisutil.dll you may have to run that again. I know I have to leave the file in the c:\ dir or I get errors
