I am pretty sure there is some sort of marketing idea behind all the "New" versions...but, if they really listen to the users, maybe they will change how they do things. This poll is truly a clear sign for them of what to do next....
I voted #2. I could care less how many times they release a product. I just want it released in a stable and relatively crash free state. Which by the way, leads to fewer releases anyway
I would like to see Wilcox concentrate on making what we have now work like it is supposed to. What a novel idea, a version that is bug free and doesn't crash.
Does anyone really think we need more "bells and whistles" to do our job.
What I would REALLY like to see (not that it would really apply to me for the most part) is that if you were under an SMA when V3.5 came out that you would get ANY AND ALL mr's for that version for all time, while still under an SMA or not. Also, I would REALLY like to see them go to the PATCH method of fixes so you can download and install ONLY the patch you need for the bug you have instead of an entire new version that might have messed up something else that you use that worked fine.

I agree with Matt. Sure would be nice to have all the bugs fixed in a release before major improvements are released. We maintain our SMA and we get a break because of all the machines we have but it really is a pretty big expense and sometimes I have to wonder if the gain is worth the pain.
I don't know if Hexagon/BnS does this or not, but maybe they need a broader range of testers before they sell an upgrade.
Some testers who work with plastics, sheet metal, fixtures, aerospace, etc. That way they'll get a broader range of feedback from the people who use it. A discount or free upgrades would be nice too, for the trouble of helping them test their product.
Currently running 4.2 MR1 and do not have any real problems that bother my programming. I talk to (many) other companies and they say they will not run...
Ok, either I am just missing something on their site, or going nuts. Wilcox used to put release dates next to the differnt older releases, so ppl knew...
