When working with a small model of about 6mb, we get this errer about every
    10 minutes. Please help.
We are using an "over controlled", networked offline computer w/ver 3.7 mr3.
It reads, The instruction at "0x72831099" referenced memory at "0x00000004". "The memory could not be read."
    Is this a software issue?

    thanks, mike

You using XP? Sounds like an issue there is a patch for, but I am not sure.

Yes we're using xp with service pack 2. Any ideas about that patch?

I think there is a link on this site somewhere, I think that is the exact version/sp that has the issue, but again, I am not sure if this IS that problem. It isn't a Pcdmis issue, it is a windoze patch.

Try a total re-boot first. Have you saved your program file? What happens if and when you do? Also is your Computer that is controlling PCDMIS on a network and active>If so are you saving to a place on the network?

Sorry I noticed you were an "over controlled", networked offline computer. Are you pulling in your cad file from a location on your own hard drive? How much ram does your system have?

I know this sounds weird but, are you using the default theme in Windows? If so, try switching to the "Classic" theme. Before I got a HUGE RAM upgrade this did the trick for me.

I'm programming from my hard drive using 2gig of ram. I think i'm working from default windows theme. We're locked out of the display portion of the control panel so i'll call our IT guy to switch themes and see if that works.

Dang, how freaking paranoid are they that you are locked out of the themes for the desktop? OMG, that is a little over the top, ain't it?

I'm not paranoid! Now quit following me around and watching everything I do.
Oh, I found your little "plant" , I know what you are up to!

Are you in China right now DPRNK perhaps? I know your profile area says MI but maybe it is Mi. I can't believe you are locked out of that. God forbid you put a picture of your kids sitting on Santa's lap at the mall on your desktop. Mine is a scandelous picture of people at a ski slope in the winter but I like to live on the edge with my wallpaper, I gues that is what your company is trying to avoid. I feel for you man.
