Parallel of a Cylinder (Extended Length)

How does the extended length work on a Cylinder. I have four cylinders that I am measuring that are approx. 50 mm in length. The blueprint calls out // .036/25.0 mm. The previous programmer used the 25.0mm in the extended length. See attached CMM Code and blueprint.

Despite the name 'Extended Length' this is the actual length of the cylinder. When you have it set to zero it uses the measured length. In your example (25 mm extended length) this is correct if you want the parallelism over a length of 25 mm.
