I am fairly new to PC-DMIS, I am using version 3.2 and I have a question about using the auto circle in different working planes. If I level in Z+ and want to measure a circle in the X- working plane, the auto circle tries to measure the circle in the Z working plane. I am sure that it is something simple but I can't figure it out.

At the right hand side and at the top of the autocircle window there are 6 boxes for vectors. Three of them are for the hole's vector -1,0,0 for x-minus (measuring with A90B90). The other three are for the vector of the angle at which hits will start (how it moves around the circle). -
Have you tried changing the work plane from the drop down men in the toolbar?Comment

Yep, when using the AUTOCIRCLE, the workplane has NOTHING to do with how it measures, it works entirely from the nominals and vectors in the window.sigpic

Probably a very simple answer but searching did not help.
I have 8 autocircles which I want to use to create 1 circle.
