      Setup Photo Insert Using Powerpoint

Ive been having some trouble recently using Powerpoint with an inserted jpg photo for setup. It will run for the initial creation, but once I close and reopen...the picture is gone. On other programs I do not have this issue and I have tried many options (size of photo evaluation, using paint, etc) but I still have issues. What would be a textbook way to do this so I dont have to deal with the headaches?

Starting a thread, instead of posting in one that is three years old and has nothing to do with what you want is a good place to start.
          I use insert/external object.
When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

Reminds me of the old joke:
Why does the sound guy say, "Test one, two, one, two"?
A: Because at 3 you usually have to lift something
