  • Converting PC-DMIS to Geomeasure

    I'm new to PC-DMIS and I'm trying to convert the PC-DMIS file to Geomeasure. The folowing are a few lines from a sphere measurment in PC_DMIS. I need to know what Coordinates are the Theoretical XYZ points and which are the theoretical vectors. Then I can manually enter them into Geomeasure. Can anyone please help?

    SPHR1 =FEAT/SPHERE,RECT,IN

        I think I understand the Circle definition but what about the XYZ and IJK in the actual hits?

        HIT/BASIC,NORMAL,0.07697,0.56517,-0.06859,-0.0844656,-0.6203825,0.7797379,0
        .07702,0.56399,-0.07174,USE THEO = YES.07702,0.56399,-0.07174,USE THEO = YES

        I need to know where to take my theoretical points and the vectors so that I can coorilate our program with another program.

          They follow the same as the theoretical.

            there are only two hits here. A sphere needs at least four.
            but anyway:
            Hit/basic,normal, o.x,o.y,o.z,o.I,o.J,o.K,i,j,k BUT YOU CAN LEAVE OFF THE LAST THREE IJK'S!
