UG Import - Dmis

Hi All, I have only v2.3 time, been Valisys since. I have to help a supplier that bought PcDmis but has no experience. They have upgraded to 3.7 MR3 per your postings here. I hope to use my existing UG Files/Valisys Dmis export but see that importing the UG file does not have point features per the generic 3.7 manual I downloaded. Due on site monday the 16th. They are supposed to have loaded "Unigraphics Direct CAD Interface". Anyone have any experience on how to use or convert existing UG programs directly to PcDmis? Just the beginning of questions I foresee.

UG Import

They have to have the license for the import. We have the license and I have used the import feature before. It works out pretty good and does bring in the .prt file with no problems. The only negative that I saw with it was, at least on my machine, the imported UG .prt file must remain associated with the DMIS program. I will sometimes delete cad files after I'm done programming. I tried this with the UG file and the software acted like it was lost without that file.
