We just upgarded our PC-Dmis to 4.0 from 3.7 and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong on the true position screen. I can't get the #'s to show After I set it up using the datums. It doesn't look like the old version and I can figure out what Im doing wrong. Any suggestions??

First of all that is not considered an upgrade. Get rid of 4.0 and get into 4.1. If you can not get into 4.1 go back to 3.7. I'm not telling you anything B&S would not. Hopefully one of the 4heads will be with you shortly on reporting. James Mannes and Jan D and \v/inston have had a lot of input on reporting and 4head questions in general. Keep your eyes peeled for those guys.

Well I ain't no 4head, but I think there is an option to use old style tp. You might want to try that. Also, I think you might want to consider downloading 4.1 from the Wilcox site, as 4.0 was reported to have some problems that 4.1 fixed. HTH

If you right click on a blank area of your report a screen will come up.change to old style reporting.4.0 has problems use 4.1.

Correct. XactMeasure GD&T does NOT show up in the Edit Window. A very annoying issue. You HAVE to open your Report Window and repaint.

The XactMeasure TP call gives you whole world of great information that you can use to do extensive process analysis. This sets PC-DMIS FAR in front of the rest of the DMIS applications crowd. I use it on every part I measure. I love this new stuff.

I am quite convinced the new TP works fine. There are issue with VC on datums. But there is a V4.1 Beta out there that has even that corrected. I have not loaded that yet, but I will soon.

Almost forgot: I also think you ought to immediately go over to V4.1. There are a lot of small issues resolved between those 2 versions.
