  • Construct a "translated plane"

    Hello !

I'd like to construct a plane, parallel to another plane, but translated of 40 mm.

Is it possible ? I searched, bud didn't see/understand how to do it...

Thank you very much for your attention,

    Guillaume

You should be able to use construct plane and at bottom of list is offset click that and enter your offset distance. Works in 3.5

Contruct an offset point X 0, Y 0, Z 40mm (+ or - depending on which direction you need). Then, create a plane parallel from the first plane thru the offset point.

When in doubt, post code. A second set of eyes might see something you missed.

In version 3.2 you use construct plane and select offset as the type. enter the offset distance and select the points to construct the plane.
