The default file setting in the "Edit Window Print Setup" box is to the folder that the program came from. When I change the folder that it saves to, it works for that execution, but when I exit out of PC-DMIS It automatically resets back to the default settings. Does anyone know how to make these settings stick?

If you EXIT out, no changes are saved. Are you saving the file before EXIT?

Isn't it the "Report Window Print Setup"? I use V4.1 and it is called that in my case.

I had a similar issue with V4.0. V4.1 seems to have fixed that.

Thanks Jan but I am using 3.7 MR2. We are going to be upgrading to 4.1 soon, but not soon enough. I figure that there has to be a way to at least change the default settings.

OK, I think that I at least need clarification of your question. This is how I am reading it.

You create a program. You go file - edit window print options - you select file and the type of file - you browse to find the path where you want the results saved - You click save - you click ok - you save the program. Then you close the program.

Here is where I need clarification.

When you re-open the same program has the path changed back to default?

            OR...

When you create a new program the path has changed back to the default?

If it is the first case, you have a problem and I don't know how to fix it.

If it is the second case, it is opening in the default directory as set up previoulsy. You can change this directory but it is same directory as you save and open programs to/from. So, either you will have to change where it looks for saving/opening programs or you will have to go in and change the path in the print window all the time.

What would you like to do?

Are you progressing exactly as I posted? I have always been able to get it to work by doing as I posted.

Insert - Report - Print command

Then F9 then change the options there.

Turn off the oprtions in the File - Print options

The options in the inserted command in the program usually stay put

You need to type"savings measurements of report window " in search that would have answered your question.
