On that link is the Readme. It is quite extensive. The Release Notes begin on Page 23 with the statement, "Version 2013 MR1 is a significant development release of the software."

          good job, my friend!
vpt.se, your input has made this release very promising.
a few things to work out, but overall? I think it is a good one. (but keeping 2012MR1sp3 on hand just in case)
Great link to the readme.pdf for those wondering if it's worth the download.
Guess I can say now that for those who wish to see the Demon improved, fixed, enhanced or whatever.... join the Tech Preview forum for 2014 and let yourself be heard in a 'official channel' to the developers. (when it opens, of course.... )

There's usually a second release 2 or 3 weeks after the first... I'm going to wait a little before download !!!!!

There is no way that this was fixed in this release.

Indeed. I was following the action in the Tech Preview thread. vpt.se worked very hard reporting issues, tracking, testing, posting followup information, etc.

The effort is much appreciated vpt!

Will wait just a bit till I get a fair amount of feedback. Will stick with 2012 mr1 att. What was I reading about the permanent lifetime download / update ability even if your license expires?

This IS now a logged issue, but will take more than a day or two to fix!

2013 MR1 is an exceedingly stable release. Having worked with it for a few weeks now, I don't want to touch anything else.

                          Service Pack updates for life
Never worry about your SMA expiring again.
Starting with PC-DMIS 2013 MR1 you are guaranteed Service Pack updates for the life of the software,
even if your Software Maintenance Agreement has expired.

I bet there is a catch to this somewhere .......................... .02

Wouldnt the service pack update only get you from say , 2013 to 2013 Sp1 or from 2013MR1 to 2013MR1 Sp1 ( Just making revs up at this point here) ? I was told at a user group that MR means Minor Rlease ( used to mean Maintenance Release ) and these contain enhancements as well as bug fixes and the Sp's are only bug fixes. So, getting an upgrade of SP's may not be the same as MR's ?
