Anyway.....

Trying to set up some edge scans.
Reverse engineering some die trim steels that have form on top and the trim edge. Thought this would be the perfect solution to my problem of providing top and side scan data of the trim edge without the hassle of running patch scans.

I have not had much luck getting that to work WITHOUT cad data. I have tried it several times and finally gave it up. I did mine with little linear scans.

That's 'bout the same way I've been going at this. Unfortunately I don't have CAD data. Foreigner built tooling with very little paper documentation, much less electronic data....... Several sets of dies that need to have trim edge data collected.
Sucks to be me, I guess.
