Blank Report pages

Recently I've been having a problem using 4.1 with reports being saved as blank, 1KB pages. I recently changed all the programs so that the marked sets in them save/print using global. Every time we find that a report is saved blank, its found that the report window did not update after the program ran.

This causes problems because our operators on second and third shift seem unable to look at the report file to see that a 1KB file is not the normal 300KB file, and I have to rerun the part (70+ parts at an hour+ each) my next shift. So I guess I'm looking for an idiot resistant solution to this problem. Thanks.

Well, if you are using Datapage, simply save every part to Datapage. It has a MEASUREMENT REPORT option that makes a Pcdmis 'look-alike' report, simular to the draft, old-style RTF file.

We use QC-Calc for data collection.

I forgot to mention that the reports come up in the report window if it is refreshed. They just don't come up the first time, which is an issue for the operaters.
