IGS FILES

Hi, I am just new to this forum, Please let me know why this happened to me ?????

After we have swtched from 3.5 to 3.7 Release, every time I load the IGS FILE, I see some extra layers and services attached to the cad file,then I have to go to edit-dellete -cad elements,I never have this problen with 3.5 release,thanks in advance

I think I remember someone saying (maybe B&S) that a different igs translator was incorporated into 3.7 and above

that could be the issue

I seen this too. With our CAD I had to turn on only the layers that ended in the number 2. Example 2,22,32,....102,112,ect.

It is a good idea to "clean up" CAD with and easy CAD viewer, before putting them into Pc-Dmis. In my world, I like Mastercam, but the 3.7 CAD viewer as a manipulator is exellent. I really enjoy this new feature, something else to add to your skill sets.

What do you mean by manipulator in Version 3.7? Haven't use it much yet, have stuck with 3.5MR2 for awhile.
