Version 4.1 Problem #3

Working to install 3 seats. Finally have the first seat running with UG DCT, the problem I am having is when I import a model and save it to version 3.5 for the other seats, everything works fine until the file is imported into V3.5MR2, the model comes in solid black. It is impossible to change the color after it has been saved from 4.1. Anyone out there with any ideas, your help would be appreciated.
