  • Romer arm calibration

Does anyone know of a calibration source (in Texas) other than Hexagon for the calibration of a Romer arm? Management is not wanting to send it out they would rather have someone come to our plant. Plus the Hexagon price is about $3000 for one arm.

There's a special table/fixture at the factory that they use to re-map the encoders. It's not the type of thing that travels well / at all. Just ship it, and don't trust 3rd party vendors to calibrate it.
