To be honest the first thing that I tried was Iterative alignments and they didn't work properly. Removed 4.0 at that point(about 15 minutes) and waited for the BETA of 4.1. Now, as far as 4.1 is concerned, pretty darn good. A few minor complaints, but it works quite well.
I found a few bugs (annoyances) with 4.0, which I later found out are known issues.
1. If you try to create a subroutine call from the menu dialog box you get an error msg. However typing the new subroutine command in works. (Fixed in v4.1)
2. You can not disable the msgs generated when editing X,Y,Z,I,J,K values relating to updating the theo or target values. The messages are missing the checkbox to disable them. (To be fixed in v4.2, I guess)
3. programmer comments, command has changed, use "Comment/$$" instead of "Comment/Doc". (According to B&S this was an inteaded change with 4.0)
I switched to v4.1 after the discovering these problems since it was already avaliable. I dont see that much of a difference but I feel better.

Earlier I spoke of a manual iterative alignment issue that caused me to stop further evaluation of PC-DMIS 4.0. Just an update to that comment. Apparently...
