    Good Morning or not

I have tried to send some data to the datapage for the first time and I am send it to a file I created but it did not work because I had no DATAPG6.DBD file create for that folder so I changed it to the demo folder but I am getting a error message.

    Database System Error -127
Database files do not exist in selected directory

but then I check the datapage and the data is there. Any Ideas on what I did wrong?

    Thanks
Since I gave up hope I feel much better !!!

DELETE the file, XSTATS11.TMP. Your first 'send' is still in the file because it could not update Datapage because you didn't have the dataabse created there. This will stay in the file until you either:

      1) Delete the XSTAT11.TMP file (Pcdmis will re-make it)
      2) Create a database at the path it is trying to find

      Just delete the XSTATS11.TMP file.

If you are worried about it, just re-name it. ANUY data that could be sent to a database SHOULD have been, and only the bad data should remain. The deletion of this file will in no way effect either software.

Oh, and it is possible that you have more than one copy of this file on the PC. The one you need to mees with will be located in the install directory of the version you are using.

As stated in privous posts, the XSTATS11.TMP file is NOT deleted it there were any errors going to the datbase. This allows the user (if they chose) to edit this file via WordPad to correct the issue and try to resend the data. If nothing is done, the next part program execute will append more data to this file. When the update happens, the original error will still be in the file. The 2nd set of data will go into the database but since there was an error the file is still not deleted.

This code in your CMM program will delete it for you every time.
