I need to create a custom 1mm Fixed Ball Probe. Does anyone know the procedure to accomplish this?

1) You need to physically create one? Or 2) You need to create it in the Probe.dat file so you can build the probe file?
2A) I would save my original probe.dat file for reference as probe_091206.dat and set attributes to 'read-only'. Then I open it and save-as to probe.dat. Then I copy and paste the code for the item that most resembles my custom probe, then rename the 'pasted' item. Now edit the code to create the custom probe, (play with it, you'll figure it out).Last edited by johnboy; 09-12-2006, 12:33 PM.
