    Pc-dims 3.7 MR2 Cad++

    I have sey up my alignment on my part and the part is out my0.011" so I tried to off-set my alignment by 0.011" and still get the same reading???

    Your part may be wrong....why adjust your alignment.
    I usually do between 2 / 3 dcc alignments before i start measuring features on the print.
    sigpic.....Its called golf because all the other 4 letter words were taken

      Well, did you re-run after the change in the alignment? It will NOT update the deviations just by you changing the value in the alignment. ALSO, when you changed the value in the alignment, did you get a pop-up window asking if you wanted to UPDATE all the following points to the new alignment? If so, did you say "YES". ALWAYS answer NO to that question. There is only one case when you would want to answer YES to that, and I will not go into it here.

        Your deviation readings are the same because your nominal is different.

          Did you re-do the CAD=PART? If you change the alignment, you MUST tell Pcdmis to re-set the cad data to the new alignment. In V3.7MR3 I have noticed you usually have to do it twice to get it to work. CAD=PART is in the OPERATIONS / GRAPHICS DISPLAY.
