PDF printing in 4.1

Just an FYI...
If anyone notices a problem with multiple runs of parts in PC-DMIS 4.1 where the you have the check box checked to send out to file (PDF), and the subsequent runs after #1 do not print out here what to do...

Go to your username within the folder in which PC-DMIS 4.1 resides on your computer. Open your username folder and remove executegbarstate. This "resets" the graphics within the report window and allows the report to be sent to PDF. This will not remove your settings for screens!!! Your layout toolbars do that. Again, just an FYI (I guess it would be called A BUG!!!)

Hey James, does this "fix" anything else with .pdf's? I can print the Edit window to a pdf file, but not the report window (only get a blank file). Tried searching the forum but 'pdf' doesn't give me any help.

Do you have the report window open when you print the report to .pdf? I ask because if you don't have the report window open and it hasn't been refreshed, you may end up with a blank screen.

Yeah, the report window is open, refreshed and looks fine. I've even tried printing to .pdf with the different variations of having the edit window and graphic window open/closed along with the report window thinking that it might make a difference, but it doesn't. All I get in the newly created .pdf file is a very small,blank square.

SABarber, Excellent question to get me going in the right direction!! I've been exclusively using a modified TextOnly that looks like the v3.7 reports. I tried some of the other stock reports and they went to .pdf just fine. I went back and restored a backup of the original TextOnly and it also printed fine. So, that shows that it is something to do with my modifications. That gives me where to look, now I've got to see if I can find what in my mods is causing this. Thanks.
