B&S was here! They were here to service the Global Image. Now that everyones gone it's open rebellion! Some issues still to resolve but it's supposed to be running. Oh well, makes for a quiet night.

Had the same thing but in X axis. Not sure if you know what it means but for me it dealt with the encoder and the board in the controller...

Being that it is in Y you may want to take the cover off and just check and make sure it is lined up correctly, Maybe something simple like dust is blocking it.

Try shutting everything down with a fresh reboot too...

That has been done, several times.
The machine locks up whenever it approaches the calibration ball or the tool changer.
Last heard the tech was headed for Vegas. Think I'll head for the beach, nice weather today.
