  • Calculation Method

    I'm trying to check a circle by using an auto-circle. I was trying to explore the calculation method being used. When using max_Insc...It's actually giving me
    .1886, when using min_circumscribed, it's giving me .1891

    CIR5 =AUTO/CIRCLE,SHOWALLPARAMS = NO,SHOWHITS = NO
    THEO/3.81,-28.5,0,0,0,1,0.1886
    ACTL/3.8101,-28.5049,0,0,0,1,0.1886
    TARG/3.81,-28.5,0,0,0,1

    CIR4 =AUTO/CIRCLE,SHOWALLPARAMS = NO,SHOWHITS = NO
    THEO/3.81,-28.5003,0,0,0,1,0.1886
    ACTL/3.8099,-28.5026,0,0,0,1,0.1891
    TARG/3.81,-28.5003,0,0,0,1

    Max_Insc is for checking ID= the largest stud that would fit into the dia
    Min_Circsc is for checking OD= The smallest circle that would fit over a stud
    Hope that helped...You could also use your help window.
