I have a metal sleeve that goes into a crankcase cylinder before the die is closed and a shot made. This cylinder has cylindricity called out with a tolerance of .002. I created an auto-cylinder and reported the cylindricity(oh and by the way cylindricity is a new icon on the dimension toolbar in 4.0 and above), it measured in tolerance. I created 4 auo-circles, reported out the diameter and circularity, and 3 of the 4 were OOT for circularity. Can anyone tell me what I am seeing? This doesn't sound right to me? Am not thinking this through properly? Here is a snippet...
