  • Moving PC-DMIS to a New PC

    Hello
I have PCDIMS 3.5 R2 and the company I work for will be changing out all of the PC's to new ones. What files do I need to backup and replace once PCDMIS is on the new PC for a smooth transistion. Thanks
    Kenn

When Reloading Pc-dmis You Need To Save The Following Files:

      Comp.dat
      Down.load
      Tool.dat
      Programs
      Probe Files

      From The Settings Editor:

      Settings Editor Export

The settings editor for sure. PCDRegfile.dat is what it will save then you can import right back in thru the settings editor on the new pc.

You should do a search here and on the old forum for new pc to get controler specific info.
