  • Sharpe32 Controller Dead

Our Sharpe32 controller died and we were told that they were obsolete. What are our options and what are we looking at $$$ wise in a replacement?

We were looking at replacing the old WorldClass controller we have with the latest Non-Scanning controller and got a price around $32K and two weeks of CMM down time. Of course management went nuts and I still have the old controller which has a 0.002-0.008 drift depending on the axis, but as long as the linear and volumetric calibrations come out good every year nobody seems to care.
