  • PC-DMIS to EXCEL

I know this has been covered. I have just downloaded the files from the Wilcox site and have got it to work.
The question I have is: How do you make dimensions go into the same Excel sheet? I will run a part and it will automaticaly load into the excel sheet. When I run another part(the same kind) it opens a new excel sheet.
Is there somethng I can do so that all the parts will Load on the same sheet?

    Thanks

The one I have has enough room for 40 parts. For some reason it is now loading on the same sheet.
Thats what I wanted it to do.
Thanks for the help Mr. Miller.

Mr. Miller--I think this is the same one you helped me with about 4months ago and we couldn't get it to work. I just deleted everything that had to do with it today and reinstalled it and what do you know, It is working.

If your talking about the one I think you are, it requires you to keep the excel file open while you measure all the parts (ie Capability Study).

Thats the one. I just leave it open when it Opens up and the program continues to loop. I am running 4 parts in a loop. When I get better at it I am going to try to loop in both the X, and Y. Right now I am just lopping in the Y.
What I would like is to loop 4 parts in the Y then move in the X and loop 4 more parts in the Y then move again in the X and loop in the Y. I have some code that someone posted(sorry I forget who it was). I am trying to figure it out.

The spreadsheet should work for 4.0. You will more than likely have to open the spreadsheet, go to tool>macros>visual basic editor>tools>references and choose the 4.0 library, and then move it to the top of the list(above your current version's library. Should be good to go.

You should be able to use the same one. You need to change the vb library in the excell form (see other posts)

yeah I'm using the pcdmistoexcel_auto.zip, this the name of the script, On the readme says that I have to paste command on the end of the program but i couldn't, it said invalid insertion here, and when I try to insert a basic script on the program and modified like the readme said, we couldn't end the script.

                      could you help me?
