Has anyone ever cleaned the glass scale on their CMM? What do you use?

Denatured alcohol, a lint free cloth and caution. -
denatured=isopropyl alcohol? Thats what I use. I've found that the some paper wipes for eyeglasses work the best to wipe the scales, exactly due to their lint-free-ness.Originally posted by Goodluck

Isopropyl - preferably 75% anything less will leave a slight residue
Pure Cotton wipes(balls or whatever). No lens paper.
