You don't give a lot of information to work from. It does not matter so much in this instance, but it is a good idea in general to state which verion of the software you are using. In this case, what is the extension of the tip? How is it missing or colliding with the sphere? In your probe build do you have it defined as a single tipped star probe or as a knuckle? I have used the single tipped star probe method and had a flawless dcc calibration on the first try. HTH

Its all about vectors. is the picture of the probe in the calibration look correct? What are you connecting you PH to? some sort of block, what type of machine. I believe you built you probe set up wrong

        version 3.52
        ph10
        tp20
        20mm extension
knuckle on 90 degrees on 0,0 angle

I tried 0,180 also both times I had to change my j vector to -1
When I went to measure the part it seems to think it is still 0,0 with no knuckle

I think Paul is right. Make sure you see the proper configuration in the window. I would also suggest again that you try the single tipped star probe method of defining the probe. I am attaching a screen shot of my build. HTH
