PCDMIS v4.1 - PDF Driver Issue

When printing to PDF file, I get an error saying "Cannot load PDF drivers, Is CDINTF.DLL installed?"

The pcdmis install of the pdf drivers may silently fail.
This error occurs because the windows printer installer looks for the file framedyn.dll in the system path and does not find it. This DLL is supposed to be located under the wbem directory under system32 and the system path is supposed to point to that directory.

We have found that under some installations, the system path contains a space character after the wbem directory, which prevents Windows XP from finding this DLL. To check if this is the problem, type PATH in a command line window and check for something like:
path=c:\windows;c:\windows\system32;c:\windows\sys tem32\wbem ;
If this is the case, you will need to manually remove the space from the system path, or copy the framedyn.dll file to your application or system32 directories.

Make sure your path has "c:\windows\system32\wbem" with no extra spaces. Also, is this an X64 system? I do not know when the X64 PDF drivers were added to the install. Possibly late July.

No it's not an X64 system. And I don't have a space in my path.

Is framedyn.dll on your system?
Is there a trailing space on the wbem path? "c:\windows\system32\wbem "?
You could try copying framedyn.dll to the "c:\windows\system32\" directory and try a reinstall.

I have verified that file in the system32 and the system32/wbem directory. That still doesn't tell me why or what the CDINTF.DLL file is.

I believe that this file is part of the printer driver conversion.

Funny that a PDF error would come up also if I have it set to print to an RTF file.

Out of curiousity, do you have a print command within your program?
if so it could be set to a pdf.

V40 and above use the Amyuni print driver for both PDF & RTF output.
